Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies I am looking for some type of good reading for Lent for our boys who are 15yrs & 10yrs . I'd like to do read alouds together but with books with a little bit more maturity , more meat to the books then previous yrs .
Do you have any suggestions ? I don't need something long and drawn out but rather something that may offer mediations & discussions , get us thinking together
Looking forward to your ideas . Thanks
Rox

This may not be at all what you're looking for, but last year my then-12yo and I enjoyed reading The Screwtape Letters together and discussing them (and when/how our sins might parallel those in the book).

No written reflections, but lots of food for thought...

Rox,
I've been meaning to get here and post...my 14 yo dd and I are immensely enjoying our reading and discussions of Fulton Sheen's Calvary and the Mass.
