I just got this in the mail today and had to share. The Thornbush by Michael Laughlin. It is a picture book with gentle and vibrant scenes. The words are soft enough for a younger audience. I've been trying to find some books to read during the Lenten season and this will be one of them. It is very much like A Little Rose of Sharon which my kids and I cried over last year.
