Hi ladies!
My blog, Catholic Icing, made it into the finals for Best Catholic Blog 2011 from About.com!  I couldn't even believe it at first! I am super flattered, and very excited! This blog has been such a blessing to my family as I have learned to live the liturgical year with my children this past year! I feel so called to do what I am doing, and I know there's no way I could do it without the support of this forum!  I think almost every creative Catholic idea in the world stems from the Domestic Church room in this forum!

Lacy, That is really competing with the big guns!!! A big congrats! I know Father Z. has a huge following -- and to be in fierce competition with his blog is quite a feather in your cap!
What do you think it says about those Catholics who are utilizing the internet? Moms? Homeschoolers? Educators?

Thanks everyone! You're all so sweet! I will say that all of my Catholic internet research shows that all the coolest creative Catholic ideas stem somewhere from this forum, because it ROCKS!
Jenn- I think more and more Catholic mothers are on the internet all the time, and looking for fun creative ideas! So many Catholic blogs talk about a lot of heavy topics- and more power to them- but it's just not me. I like to think Catholic Icing is a breath of fresh air where we can all celebrate our faith in a fun way without stress or debate. I can't believe the support I got from Catholic mothers all over the place. This was a really fun competition to be a part of.

Collectively, the recession has brought much suffering. When times are especially hard, I find myself attracted to...and CLAIMING what is true, joyful, and LIGHT. Enter...pink (Catholic) icing .
