My husband's contract ends in 7 weeks. He had a line on a job that would've been 1.33 x his current pay. This was all negotiated weeks ago and approved by the company he was to work for ... it just had to be OK'd by the government. We *might* have actually gotten out of the hole we are currently in financially. But that fell through.
So now we're in limbo. With nine kids.  My husband is scrambling to find something new. Please pray for us, especially for him as he is the sole provider!

Thanks, Nancy. I'm finding it hard to focus on school today. I'm really bummed and needed to buoy myself up, and so I'm trying to focus on the good in my life. We are so blessed. Perhaps even too blessed for our wickedness. I was just hoping against hope that we could free ourselves from this crippling debt pile we're under. Now we'll be lucky if he has a job to segue into from this one.

Thank you, friends. I knew I could count on you! I took a run yesterday which loosened my brain from the grip the devil must have had on it yesterday. Then, despite Sam, my little jumping bean, waking me up about four times last night, I slept soundly (that is, when I was allowed to sleep  ). My kids are back at the forefront of my thoughts and fun schooling is on the agenda.
Apparently, the company with which my husband applied has not given up hope. They're trying to work it so everyone is under their contract. In the meantime, my husband is working other angles. Both of us feel better, though we're still floating in space, not knowing anything.
Your prayers and the knowledge that God will not forget His own buoy us up.
