Ladies I would like to ask for your prayers for our dd & grandson 4yo. She has lefta very abusive relationship and police & womens protective services are helping her but it has been very scary for us as a family as you know even with warnings etc. by police when someone is not clear of mind and obsessive all the restraining orders in the world cannot do a thing.
We are in the process of trying to help dd purchase a new home so they can get out of the bad area and apt.
she has a great job & making plans for university etc. but the strain of watching her back constantly is draining her spirit .
Our Lady Lourdes is a devotion very close to my dd and Brigisd is her saint so I've been praying etc. hard this will all work out .
truly I appreciate your paryers for her & our little grandson

Lifting you all up in prayer, Roxie, ESPECIALLY your daughter and grandson! Also lifting up this man, may the Holy Spirit work through this whole situation to provide healing, safety, conversion... all that is necessary! I cannot imagine the distress of a mother's heart in this situation!
I'm sure you know this, but feel better adding the caution to be careful to not reveal details of the new house, etc. since anyone can read here. (Maybe this is not an issue if he will know where she is living/working anyway...but just in case I wanted to mention.)

I remember you telling me about the wedding of your dd. I am so sorry to read about what she and your grandchild have been through.
Relieved to hear they are out of the relationship.

Praying here Roxie. We've been down that same tragic road. Healing can be a very long, painful process for everyone involved. May God and all of His holy angels and saints watch over your dd and grandson. May your entire family be kept under Our Blessed Mother's mantle of grace and protection. Praying the Holy Spirit will bring about conversion of heart, mind, body and soul of the one who has wounded your dear ones.
The ladies here have given you wise counsel in suggesting you keep identities and locations of everyone involved off the net, even on this site. An abusive person views a restraining order as a mere piece of paper, and the internet can be a powerful tool for tracking people and information, especially in the wrong hands. May God bless you with wisdom, prudence and profound grace as you help your daughter and grandson during these very difficult times.
