My husband is on his way home from work...in heavy snow. Please pray for everyone on the road tonight who's facing bad weather.

Prayers for your husband's safe and timely return,Nancy. My daughter has been on the road from Bethesda to home (20 miles?) for the last 3.5 hours. We know she's safe, it's just that nothing is MOVING!

Praying Nancy! The ten hour trip to our dd's in Dec. was mostly icy roads, where we saw several semis that had slid off the road! There were several times we seemed to be crawling, but that's so much better than having an accident! Winter driving is no picnic! Our Lady of the Highway, St. Michael and all of God's holy angels bring all those who are traveling safely home!

Glad to hear your husband is safe and sound, Nancy. My daughter finally arrived home after 6.5 hours on the road. Thank God she was just frazzled - but safe.

Oh, Nancy, glad he made it home in a decent amount of time and safely! There were some whose commute last night was 14 hours! I'm so glad dh has the option of telecommuting. If there's snow in the forecast I beg him to stay home.
I was out when it first started as sleet...I have never seen such big ice pellets -- they were almost like hail! It was treacherous!
