Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been asked to teach pre-k and kindergarten religious ed. at our church. I'm not comfortable giving such young kids a million "I Am Special" worksheets . Are there any good books or websites with FUN activities that still teach?? I'm thinking easy plays we could act out, paperdolls to color, easy crafts that mean something, etc.

I post fun Catholic preschool lessons with lots of craft ideas for free on my blog:

Catholic Preschool Curriculum

Here are all of the catholic alphabet crafts that go along with it. I started out making a lesson for each number (from 1-5) and now I'm going through the alphabet (A is for Angel, B is for Bible, C is for Crucifix, etc) we're on M is for Monstrance this week. I update it with the new craft each Wednesday. I'm hoping to post some Catholic preschool plans on shapes and colors when we're finished with the alphabet. I hope this helps! I use this basic curriculum with my preschool co-op class, but I'm hoping to get involved with young CCD students next year.
