You may remember that my dh was laid off at the beginning of November causing us to lose the house we had been hoping to close on just days later.
Since that time we've been blessed to be able to move out of our tiny apartment and rent a house. It's not our "ideal" house but it is cute and will work in this transition time. It's a roof over our house and we are most thankful for it!
I had been praying for a Christmas miracle for my dh to find a job as it's been extremely difficult for him to "not be providing" for his family. And just 2 days before Christmas he found out about a job fair at a local jewelry company. He went and they are extremely impressed with his skills and qualifications. They will be calling him back within the first 2 weeks of January to go for a "test" to make sure he really can do everything he says he can. If he passes that he will have a job!!
PLEASE keep us in your prayers!!! I am just blown away by the power of prayer especially concerning this and the way we found out about the job fair (completely by chance and only 2 hours before it began). I know the Child Jesus is hearing us and blessing us!!

UPDATE 4/1/11
Oh ladies!! My husband found a job! He was officially offered it yesterday and simply has to pass the background and drug tests of which I am sure will be no problem  It isn't "ideal" and we will be getting significantly less income then we were before but it is SOMETHING and we will have health insurance so I am so very happy!! Thank you all so much for your prayers!
In this period of being laid off we've had many conversations one of which is possibly homeschooling our daughter (who is 1 right now) and I am happy to say that we are on the same page of thinking it is the right thing! Only months ago my dh wasn't too sure about it. So yet another thing to rejoice about right now!

Please keep praying! This is the week we are hoping my dh will get called in for an interview/test of his skills for the job! We still haven't heard anything and I'm getting anxious! Plus there is a huge storm coming tonight and into tomorrow so the whole state is basically closed....we most likely won't hear tomorrow either!  If you could keep us in your prayers I'm sure it would help calm my anxiety! Thank you all!
