Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I registered with yahoo so that I could be part of a yahoo group. I gave an alternate email like it asked. However, I can't log into my yahoo groups. Now I get emails from the group, but yahoo tells me I have no acct. It even tells me there is no acct under my alternate email, but I know there is because I get emails from yahoo groups to my email......
Anyone know why or how to remedy this?

I am a moderator for several Yahoo groups and this issue of some members not being able to log in is my biggest headache. Their registration process is confusing. So you may be registered and not have a proper Yahoo ID/profile which means you can't access the web but can get emails. You may have the profile/ID set up but it's connected with the yahoo.com address they made you get and not the alternate email address. I usually have to work with our members a bit to try to figure out the problem and see if we can get access. Sometimes we can but there are a few people who we haven't been able to because they can't remember the password they picked or the original yahoo.com eamil address they used.

Are you trying to log in with the alternate address? If so try the yahoo.com address. Once members get into their account they can change the settings so that there isn't this issue. I also have heard of people having problems logging in for technical computer issues - like firewalls and malware issues. Sometimes just trying to log in using a different browser can work if you do have all the correct ID and password info.

Ok. I tried using the yahoo address, the alternate address and two different browsers...........it still keeps telling me the acct. doesn't exist. Was I supposed to do something else to set up the stupid yahoo email acct? I didn't, so maybe that is the problem???
