Please pray for one of my local friends, who has complete placenta previa and has been losing amniotic fluid. She is so very frightened. If you could pray for her peace of mind and for her health and her baby, I would appreciate it very much.
Update 1/11:
She's on complete bedrest...they switched to a pro-life medical practice, which, she says, was the best possible thing she could have done. However, she's only at 19 weeks or so, and this is a very high-risk pregnancy - she's glad to hear you are all praying for her.
Please pray that she'll get tons of help, too, from family and friends - she has three other children ranging from age 8 to 20 months. We've set up a rotation of moms to bring them dinners and provide other types of help, but the day-to-day stuff is not easy.

URGENT Update 1/13:
Please pray right now. My friend has gone to the hospital with more blood and amniotic fluid loss. Her baby is not yet to 23 weeks, which means that there are only two options - 1) deliver her by C-section, which the baby will not survive; or 2) hospitalize my friend to try to make it to at least 23 weeks.
The baby is fine as of the last ultrasound. They've named her Joy.
Thank you for your prayers - they are so needed.

Update 1/14:
Baby is still okay! My friend has to stay on absolute bedrest and try to make it to week 24. (She is at 21 weeks now.) With 3 children at home, this is a challenge; please pray for lots of help for her.
Another good thing - her amniotic fluid is increasing in volume (it's only half of normal, but that is way better than it was previously).
Please keep praying!

Please pray now...my friend is in the hospital and has been bleeding for several hours...she's not quite to week 24...her husband has asked for prayers.

UPDATE 2/14 - PLEASE PRAY
My friend has no amniotic fluid left and has been bleeding. Her baby will probably be delivered by C-section today. She's almost to 26 weeks. All prayers are appreciated.

2/15:
Baby Joy was born last night. She is stable, not quite 3 pounds in weight. Please pray for her health and for her mom's C-section recovery.

5/4:
Baby Joy will likely come home Sunday. She'll need an apnea monitor for a while, but she is doing very, very well and now weighs 5.5 pounds! This is the baby that doctors said wouldn't make it...God has granted a miracle this time, for sure...
Thanks to everyone who has been praying for baby Joy and her family. They will still need prayer as they move back home and re-establish their routines, but they are so very excited to be bringing their precious girl home.
