Ladies,
My dad was on his way to pick up my great aunt for Thanksgiving dinner when her son called that they had found her, dead in her apartment. She passed away sometime in the night.
She was a sick woman with diabetes and other health issues and was 86 but this is a huge blow to my grandmother as she was the only one left of her generation. On top of it all its Thanksgiving and my grandmother is still reeling from my grandfathers death almost 4 years ago.
PLEASE say a prayer for our whole family and may she rest in peace.
BTW her name was Elsa.

Update:
Thank you all for your prayers. Thanksgiving dinner was a very quiet affair, more for not wasting the food, but we spoke of her and her kind ways. She was buried on Saturday and my grandmother has been holding up. She chose not to go to the burial as her blood pressure was already through the roof. My grandmother seems very at peace about the whole thing.

I'm so sorry, Mimi. My grandmother passed away a year ago on Thanksgiving so I understand that side of it! Praying for everyone involved.
