My dd was at the bottom of a four kid pile-up while playing outside this afternoon. She took a tooth to the scalp- lots of blood, lots of screaming, etc
.

Luckily it was a small puncture and did not need stitching, but now she is on medication, and we have to watch for infection.

She is sleeping now and seems quite recovered- but we could use prayers for an uneventful recovery. *SIgh*.

Thanks for all your prayers. Dd has recovered very well. At her recheck yesterday, there was no swelling or even bruising around the puncture site, and it was not painful. I attribute that to your prayers.

She did have to get a tetanus booster, but even then the nurses used that "freezy spray" before the shot, so she didn't even feel that!

The best of a bad situation... thank you all

So glad to hear your great update!! With four boys, I could rename our family, “HeadwoundsRus” Or......”NearmissERdaysRus” It is always something with those boys. Although....just as a little aside, LILY is the only one who has actually needed stitches on her pretty little head.
