Yes, THANK YOU MODERATORS FOR ALL YOU DO "behind the scenes" - I can only imagine the work that is involved.
And I've always been curious..how do you all connect on the retreats? Via phone/email? Do you actually get together?

During a retreat we ARE more likely to pick up the phone to talk through decisions that need to be made OR just to connect with a friendly voice. Yet, most of our work is done here at the board via a forum for this purpose.
Each retreat brings with it a different set of needs. This one was especially organzied and relaxed, Praise God!
There has been talk of meeting on a beach with umbrella drinks  .
Thank you all for your kind words. More importantly to my heart is your ongoing sharings. I have been, and continue to be, touched by the collective intelligence, humor, courage, humility and so much more. I especially thank God for the privilege of praying for each other .

Thank you for your work... I haven't been around as much lately, but I've been a member of this board for 4 1/2 years now and on the Internet for 15, and this truly it is one of the most consistently "nice" (as in kind) places I've visited that still manages to have serious and/or lively discussion, and yet not to have that uptight, overly moderated feeling. That must not be the easiest balance for moderators to achieve.

1. The first group of moderators met at the Catholic Charlotte Mason (CCM) yahoolist.
2. Nope, there is quite an age spread among the moderators. I hope I'm not the oldest  .
3. When moderators among the first group chose to no longer moderate, new moderators were needed. We met these moderators either at CCM or here .
