Hello dear ladies,
I am expecting unexpectedly again, but began to spot last evening. I was able to go in right away this morning and had bloodwork and an ultrasound, but the baby was too small to determine if there was a heartbeat. I am nearly 8 weeks along and the baby should be big enough to see a heartbeat, so that has me worried as does the bleeding and cramping. If things stay like this I will go in Friday for another progesterone shot and next week for another ultrasound.
I am more anxious this time around knowing now what the actual passing of the baby will be like if that be God's will. At this point I am feeling strongly that I will lose the baby soon, but will pray to accept God's plan.
Thank you for your prayers! I promise not to write volumes about this like I did last spring. :)
Update 11/15
Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. We did lose our baby. The results of the HCG levels confirmed this and my doctor told me early this morning. I think the two progesterone treatments I had may be postponing the actual passing of the baby. I am bleeding moderately to heavily, but not passing much tissue at all. I am waiting for things to happen like last time with much bleeding and passing of tissue for several hours as this baby is almost the same age as the last, but have been told that it could be different.
Would you mind saying a few more prayers for us. We were not that happy to be expecting again. Will I ever learn to be happy with God's unexpected plans and blessings? And, now here we are, again, and so soon after the last. Trying to pray to understand God's desires of me, but feeling somewhat empty because of my weaknesses and lack of faith.
Can I share one more quick thing? Last week on the very day I began spotting, I was at the kitchen sink (where my deep thinking occurs) and I had a wave of peace and grace and happiness regarding this new baby. I remember a feeling of giving over my will to God's and then laughing. A little later I felt sickly, unmistakeningly pregnant sickly,and then the spotting late that evening. I wonder now if the baby died that same day. I don't know, but it gives me a bit of peace thinking that I had that sweet moment.
Thank you for letting me share here. I ended up writing a lot! I know there is suffering in many lives here and I will offer up these next days for those who need prayers.
