My poor 8 yo niece, Hannah, is so so sick with a stomach virus. It has been a few days since she has kept anything down without it coming back up....fever over 102 at times.....and she is very dehydrated. They almost put her in the hospital yesterday, but she rallied for a few hours...but this morning, she is right back at keeping nothing down (only has had a few sips of water)......she needs an IV and some phenergan or something.....poor, poor girl, I am so worried about her. My sister is getting frantic, going to call doc as of a few minutes ago.
Please offer up a quick Ave for this little sweetheart. She is especially devoted to Miss Lily, always sending things when Lily is having a tough time, a very sweet girl.

UPDATE:
Hannah is home, doing okay, had three bags of IV’s...and some IV anti nausea meds. My sister thinks Hannah is turning the corner, still very lethargic. The docs said this particular virus is going for up to 5 days.....

I'm glad your sister is calling the doctor. I'll be praying for Hannah all day today.

Praying for your niece! It is so scary to have our dc go through this. When my oldest was the same age, he had a terrible stomach virus, too. That IV fluid helped turn the tide, although, for me, he still took a long time to recover. Prayers!

My sister just called as they were pulling up to the front of the children’s ER, hopefully IV fluids will turn her around quickly.....thanks for the prayers....this one has me a little worried, poor girl.
