A friend just told me something I never thought of this whole pregnancy yet. I am due Dec. 21, and the friend said something about traveling this road with Mary. I hadn't even thought of the fact that I am going through the same stages as Our lady was in her pregnancy at this time of year. Isn't that an awesome thought to be able to unite all the difficulties and joys of pregnancy with Our Lady in such a beautiful way, to think of all she was experiencing so deeply in expecting Our Lord, what a beautiful thing to meditate on in these last weeks and during the Holy Season of Advent.

Just wanted to share this thought with any who may be epecting Little Ones right now, and in particular those due in December.

That is a beautiful thought.

I've linked the Maternity Novena thread which has the December mommas-to-be who have posted. Praying for all of you on this journey which will lead you into Advent along with Our Lady.

It's really lovely.. the year I was pregnant with my now 7 yr old.. our Church printed little snips of pregnancy updates.. like how big the baby would be and stuff.. to coorespond with Mary carrying Jesus.. and my baby was due Dec 28.. it really kept it in mind to see that in the bulletin every week.

Both my babies were near Christmas and I so identified with Mary. Especially with dd who was born in our car on a cold December night
