Hi Ladies,

I'm trying to decide on getting the postcard art books from the Mommy It's a Renoir series, or maybe some big book like Sister Wendy's Story of Painting. I don't want to buy individual art prints, and have been unsuccessful at finding lots of calendars, and I don't want to check out a library book that may have some prints that I don't want an 8 y.o. to see. I'd like to have prints of famous paintings, for a basic education. We aren't artists and don't need an in-depth study. It probably wouldn't be used too much, so something less than $40-$50 for the whole thing would be great.

Can you steer me to something with quality, for kids?

We started out with books like Katie and the Sunflower, and Katie Meets the Impressionists. Also, Linnea in Monet's Garden and I Dreamed I Was a Ballerina.

Maybe your boys are young enough not to mind the ballerina stories .
