I am due to meet DD's birth mum tomorrow after 3 years of having DD in our family. I have never met her before and there is a lot of baggage there - we are not talking about a truly relinquished child in the American infant adoption sense, and I have a lot of emotions I am processing and am feeling that I will be pretty unsupported by the social workers in attendance who seem to think they are her heroes. If you can, please pray that I will think much, speak wisely, be able to get the answers for DD we want and be able to show Christ's love to Birth mum regardless of how I feel. And that we will be safe and continue to be safe, with no reprecussions to our security through this meeting. Thanks.


Update: Thank you so much for your prayers. I could really and truly feel them and felt very supported and "upheld". I have some additional security worries now, actually, but it went well and I have some answers
