is in council and being reviewed. The problem is that part of the work (well, most of the work) was done in the States, but he finished it up in Wales. In addition, many of the scout leaders at home have moved (company relocations). We have major problems with who has want, who talked to who, etc.

Please pray that all these issues can be resolved quickly. I am a bit anxious about this as he turns 18 in the near future. Thanks so much for your prayers!

Update
I just spoke with council. While I do not have the award in my hot little hand, it is my understanding that it has gone to National and will return this week or next week.

Please pray that the postal service delivers it in a reasonable amount of time. And thanks for all your previous prayers for this intention.

Update 1/20
The Eagle has landed!
Earning the Eagle takes a lot of effort. And the Court of Honor is something usually handled by the parents of the Scout. However, over here, the unit presents the award (Queen Scout) and handles the banquet and all the details.

The Dyfed High Sheriff will present the award to ds. The mayor and members of the Welsh Assembly have been invited as well as all of the scouts from the Beavers (our Tiger cubs) to the Explorer unit. They have never presented an Eagle Award.

In the States, we have had a presentation by the scout family about their history with scouting. They do not usually do that here, but we are going to do one for our ds. I still have some of the crafts he did as a tiger cub!

Our ds turns 18 tomorrow, so he is now too old for scouting, but they want him to become a full fledged leader. I am overwhelmed with pride for his accomplishments.

And I want to thank all of you for praying for ds and this whole process. I certainly appreciate your prayers.

Chari, I am praying for your daughter. I hope that it all works out for her.

And thank you all for the prayers. I have heard so many stories about Eagle applications being delayed and apparently there were four submitted from our troop to our council that had simular problems.
It is just harder when you are doing it from so far away.

But our troop in the States and our leader over here are working to have it all ironed out. Hopefully, there will not be any more hitches.

Please continue to offer prayers though this process. And perhaps I will seek the aide of St. George. He is the patron saint of scouting, but also our neighboring country, England!
