My husband's "Aunt Sister Gertrude" passed away today, a few months shy of 90 years old. She was a Franciscan nun, the sister of his mom.
Please pray for her soul, and that we can figure out a way to get dh's mom to the funeral (long story).
This great nun could quiet a class of 60 first graders by just lifting one finger. 
May she rest in peace.

Thank you everyone - the funeral was very nice - the priest who did it seemed to know the family from way back, so it was very personal. I spent most of the day with the 3yo running around out back so I missed a lot! We got MIL there (yay!) but now dh is in much pain from driving so much (he went a few states away to get her).
I so appreciate everyone's prayers...we feel kind of abandoned here.
