Today is my anniversary and I just wanted to say a word or two about the man that I married.
My husband is kind, always there for me, making me feel beautiful, loved and wanted. He is funny, making me laugh so much that I fall off of what ever I'm sitting on at the time (lol). He is steadfast. I know that no matter what happens, he will be by my side until the very end. That is an amazing feeling. He loves his children so much it brings tears to my eyes. He corrects them with a gentleness that is inspiring. He is the head of our house without being overbearing or dominating. He leads and we follow because we trust and love him not because he yells or demands it. I love him so much and am so grateful that God lead me to him.
Anyone else want to share why their husbands are so great? Yay for great men!

What a great topic! A wonderful husband is truly a blessing. I have been blessed with a great husband who loves me in so many ways.
He cares for me and helps me in so many ways without complaint, so much so that I often don't even know all the things he does and have the chance to thank him. He willingly drops what he's doing to go get something for me so I don't have to climb the stairs. He helps get the little ones up and dressed most mornings, and helps get them ready for bed in the evenings(or often does mit himslef whiole I do other household tasks), it helps so much to be a team like that. He helps me do assembly line baths, lifting the Little Ones in and out of the tub to save my back and legs from sciatica. He does all the dishes, and helps keep the kitchen and living room clean(as clean as possible with so many Littles ). He helps get the house clean when company is coming. He cooks sometimes to relieve me. He works very hard every day to run our home business and make it success. He is physically affectionate, giving many hugs and a gentle touch as he walks by throughout the day to say "I love you". He tells me "I love you" often. He tells me I'm beautiful. He keeps his eyes for me with a diligent watch on what he looks at. He teaches our children in so many ways, teaching them to do what's right, keeping them in line, guiding, instructing, and disciplining. He prays with us and leads Family Rosary and evening prayers every day. He'll drop what he's doing to come pray meal prayers with us even if he doesn't have time to eat with us. He works hard not to complain about things I do and to be patient with the problems I bring to him, when I think something could use some work. I have been truly blessed with a Godly and loving husband, I pray I can remember all these wonderful things and be an equally good wife, to keep these things in mind when I feel like complaining or arguing about something!
BTW Happy Anniversary Vanna! May your marriage and family be greatly blessed!

I'll share one reason why my husband is great. He was raised with poor examples of manhood, so common among his peers/generation. I think it is great, miraculous really, that he has chosen to take on learning how to be a great man, husband and father - from scratch. Seriously, what a sacrifice, effort, grace!
Here's to all the great husbands out there....those who were blessed with fine examples and natural inclinations, those who weren't but are chosing to learn, and those who struggle with the role but have the great gift of love for their wife and family .
Love,
