I have been meaning to get here all morning to post this but keep running out of time.
Could you please offer up a few prayers for my Marie-Therese today? She has a cardiologist appointment at 1pm today for an echocardiogram and a meeting with the doctor.
Our pediatrician has heard a heart murmur since her 2 month well baby visit and says it keeps getting "more defined". So we're going to have it checked out.
This mama is very nervous. In my heart I know she is a healthy, happy baby but I'm also a tad afraid of what they may say. I'm hoping and praying for an all clear sign!

Jen...I have arrived home just now to read this.
Praying all went well.
My third child was also born with a heart murmur.
We invoke St. John of God, patron saint of heart patients daily.
Let us knwo when you can!

Thank you all for your prayers!
Marie-Therese most definitely has a heart murmur but the doctor believes it is benign. She also heard a sound though that isn't a murmur....she thinks there may be a tiny hole in the valve of Marie-Therese's heart. She said it too isn't serious....just something to watch. We are scheduled for an echocardiogram on Thursday afternoon just to be sure of what's going on in there.
But all in all it was a great visit and we have nothing to worry about. She declared Marie-Therese as "perfectly healthy". The worse thing that could happen is that there is a small hole and we will have to bring her back when she is 3 for another echocardiogram.
Again thank you for the prayers! I was very calm and at peace the whole afternoon!

Wonderful news, Jen! Thanks be to God for those wonderful pediatric cardiologists, and the many other specialists in the medical community that assist us with our sweet little (and not so little) ones! I'm so grateful for their skills!
I'm rejoicing that you are at peace and that little Marie-Therese has no urgent cardiac issues! I'll continue to pray for her little heart!
