Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm looking for one of these for my kitchen. Can anyone direct me to a nice affordable one...say as low as $50 and not over $100.

The ones I'm finding online are E.X.P.E.N.S.I.V.E.

The cheapest I've seen is $235. The most is over $1000.

Thank you.

I'm in the same boat as you. Don't know that you can find one in that range, new. I've been searching craiglist. Have seen a few cheaper there, but always already sold. But haven't found anything less than $100. I keep hoping Hobby Lobby will have one. They have had some in the past. There furniture pieces aren't high quality but they are less expensive and with the 40% off coupons...

You might keep your eyes open on craigslist, or at thrift shops or garage sales, for a cabinet with glassed in doors....or if you're lucky, one where the glass is broken or missing, which someone might be offering for free or at a deep discount (I saw a nice cabinet at a Salvation Army store just the other day, which was missing the glass)....then make your own "tin" inserts. When my mom passed away, my daughter requested her old Hoosier cabinet....one of the glass doors was broken while moving it to our house for "safe-keeping" until she could claim it and the very old, opaque, patterned glass was impossible to replicate. Long story short, we found some attractive replicas of tin ceiling panels at a home improvement store and replaced the glass with those. You could easily get a simply patterned version of similar panels (they're actually made of plastic, but are painted so well they look quite authentic, and are very easy to cut and work with)....then you could punch your own holes! I would try practice punching holes in an edge or an extra scrap before attempting the panels you want to install. Just an idea in case you don't find a cabinet with tin panels already intact. You might even search online for punched tin panels. Happy hunting!
e.t.a. A search on ebay for "punched tin cabinet" brought up various panels and a very nice wall caninet, with punched tin, and hooks underneath for rosaries for $29.95. Other searches that might work would be "punched tin cupboard" or simply "punched tin".
