Two prayer requests, please:
Got this e-mail yesterday:

I just had 3 lumps taken out last Thursday, 2 from left breast and 1 lymph node from right armpit. Verbal result showed cancer. I will need a PET scan to check metastasis. I might go to FUDA cancer center in Guangzhou for treatment. Please include me and our family in your prayers.
Blessed Chiara died of bone cancer. She needs to perform miracles for sainthood. I am asking for her intercession for a miracle of divine healing. |

Her name is Sally and she has four children (ages 15 and below). She and her husband are Filipinos but are in China right now because of work. They are beautiful people, members of Couples for Christ-Foundation for Family and Life and very committed Christians and Catholics. My heart is just breaking for them and their family.
My other request concerns the Reproductive Health Bill that is being debated right now in the Philippines. The enemies of the Church are coming out in droves and so much misinformation and lies are being spread. Since many Filipinos don't have a solid understanding of Church teaching on contraception, etc. there are many Catholics who support this bill, including the President. There is talk of excommunication of several high-ranking officials. Please pray for the Catholic Church in the Philippines.

I am praying for Sally through the intercession of blessed Chiara.
And I think St. Michael would be a good intercessor for our dear Catholic brothers and sisters in the Philippines.
