I'm requesting prayers for my fil again. He just isn't recovering from his bypass surgery like he should. After 9 days in the hospital he was allowed to go home on oxygen, but now is in the hospital again with infection and fluid in his lungs. My mil called an amubalance yesterday morning. I think he is stabilized right now, but he could definitely use prayers... he's trying to quit smoking (formerly 3 packs a day!), he hasn't been sleeping and seems confused often or sometimes to be having hallucinations, even though he is not on any drugs for pain.  The biggest thing, of course, is that he has consistently had trouble breathing. I don't know how long they will keep him in the hospital this time, but my dh is beside himself worrying, as he was just getting on a plane yesterday while his mother was calling the ambulance.
Thank you for all your prayers. I really appreciate this forum, and I pray daily for your concerns, even if I don't always get a chance to reply to the prayer threads. You all really are a blessing.
