My 87-year-old grandfather is currently the sole caretaker of my 85-year-old grandmother, who is suffering from dementia. Apparently, she has gotten a lot worse in the last couple of weeks due to illness, and it looks like my mom will be going to visit to help out and try to get my grandfather to agree to either get some in-home nursing assistance, or put her in a nursing home. I'd really appreciate prayers that they will make the right decision, that my grandmother will cope well with whatever they decide, and that my grandfather would be at peace, if that's possible.
