Dear Heavenly Father,

Protect Your children from the effects of the storms currently raging on Your beautiful Earth. Send Your guardian angels to them to protect them during evacuation and during the storm. Keep them safe as they plan and pack and prepare, and send Your Holy Spirit to console them during this stressful time.

We pray for all sailors and guardsmen at sea this weekend, and ask You to protect them and their families.

We also ask Your protection for all victims of storms and floods, particularly in ravaged Pakistan.

We ask these things through Your Son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Our Lady, Star of the Sea, pray for us.
