Please pray for Josh, who has lost most of his hearing as a result of being in an explosion while serving in Afghanistan. His baby son is very young and Josh is faced with recovery from his injuries, coping with the responsibilities of fatherhood and trying to chart a new career course (if he is permanently hard of hearing he will not be able to stay in the military).

Josh's mother-in-law goes to my church. She has asked for prayers for his conversion to Catholicism as well as for the healing that is within God's plan for Josh. Josh was not a believer until he deployed and "saw miracles," in his words, things that could only be explained through the grace of God. He has started to read the Bible, too.

Josh's story is just one of thousands...so many of our young people are coming home with wounds of the body and spirit. Please pray for their healing and for those who love them and are making this journey with them.
