Okay.....here’s the scoop. Lily was suppose to get her pins out on Sept. 3rd....and then the nurse moved it up to next Tuesday.....and then the doctor decided he wants to “see her first” on Monday at 4PM.....and decide just how bad Lily’s infection is and if he really wants to do surgery on Tuesday to get the blessed things out. BUT....I live three hours from this hospital. My head is spinning at all of this. We also have had a death in my dh’s family and there will be lots of busyness surrounding that...please pray for dh’s uncle and family.
AND...I am so, so tired. I am three weeks post op....and just feeling quite weary and overwhelmed. My stent is not behaving and not a very pleasant thing to have in, I can assure you, not fun at all.
God is here....I know He is....and I am asking Him to give me strength to make it through all of this the next few weeks.

Update--
No surgery for pin removal until Sept 3rd, next Friday.....oh well. I had a bit of an epiphany after this disappointing appointment. I get the feeling that God really, really wants me to trust His timing. I felt a peaceful wave of resignation to His will....I am pretty sure Lily won’t be getting her trach out next month, for several reasons....but I know she will eventually, and I am sure it will all be in His perfect Timing. I am trusting it will all happen when it is suppose to happen. I am saying all of this now so you all can cheer me on when I start to call out on the boat, “LORD, LORD wake up!!!!"
