Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi Moms~

Is there a resource/website/book that has a whole host of easy arts and crafts for Kindergartners/Pre-K? Most of the time, my creativity does not go beyond crayons and paper...but I would really like to branch out a bit without getting stressed out.

Any recommendations?

My favorite craft site for those ages has been this one DLTK's Printable Crafts for Kids Each craft gives a minimum age recommendation and I've found that they are quite reasonable.

The crafts tend to be quite easy and use very common materials (there are lots and lots and lots of crafts using toilet paper rolls for example).

The Crafty Crow always has good stuff. You'll find crafts there for all ages, not just early learning, so you'll have to pick and choose. Luckily there is a TON to choose from.

Catholic Icing
always has good stuff for the liturgical year. The St. Rose of Lima paper doll is something my dd will love. Also- check out the cross cookies from our own AussieAnnie!

Whoa! A treasure-trove of ideas!!

Woohoo! Yup. This will do it. Much more fun than just coloring sheets.

Thank you all so much!

I used Kidssoup extensively one year. There is a membership fee (around $25), but I thought it was well worth it.

You can check your library for "The Mailbox" publications- it's meant for classroom teachers, but I have used several crafts from those books in the last 2 years. The printables are right in the book for you to photocopy and necessary materials are common kid craft supplies.

Another book suggestion is anything by Jean Warren. She also has a website called Preschool Express that I use for ideas and some printables. Many activities are easy to beef up for a kindergarten/1st grader or slim down for a 2 1/2-3yo that wants to participate with an older sibling.
