Please pray with me for a couple of intentions involving my younger (and two of my three autistic) kids. The autistic part is relevant as my youngest dd is going to evaluated as an adult, and this eval will have a major impact on her life -- whether or not she can be employed, whether we can claim her as a dependent or cover her with our medical insurance. Please pray the doctor sees her as she is and helps us help her. The second intention is for my autie scout. He will be on a river tubing trip with the scout troop we plan for him to join. The right scout troop is vital for him -- scouting is a large part of his social interaction, He needs scouting (or other very similar activity which is not really available for him), and I want the other boys to accept, if not like, him. I would be less concerned if I didn't know that other Webelos will be there as well, and I know that a couple of Webelos from other packs dislike my ds -- mostly because they don't really understand. Please God they will not be there.
I know this is small besides some of the other things people have in their lives -- foreclosures and so on -- but these things will deeply affect my younger kids, and so I ask your prayers.
The good news I have (and feel free to thank God with us) is that my ds is about to earn his Arrow of Light.

Oh, Deborah, I have tears in my eyes just reading this....this is all big stuff....and you are such a good mama!!! Many and I will surely be praying for your precious children! Keep us updated!

Half of our prayers have been answered.
My ds had a wonderful time, and the boys seemed to accept him pretty well. We are now making definite plans to join this troop at the next Blue and Gold.
I am very thankful. I hope the other request goes as well!
