Ladies, would you please pray for the repose of the souls of my great-grandmother and great-grandfather? She died on Tuesday and he, also in poor health, died this morning. They had her funeral scheduled for Friday morning, so now it will be a funeral for the both of them. They were married 73 years. 
They were both practicing Catholics earlier in their marriage, but I do not know how much they were practicing the Faith in their last years (they live across the country from us). Please pray for their souls and for their many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Oh Celeste - praying for their souls and for you and your family. It's sad to have a double sorrow like that yet very beautiful, too - 73 years - taht is amazing.

That's what I was thinking...sad with the sorrowful loss of both, but I couldn't help thinking that it's beautiful as well. and prayers for you, Celeste, and prayers for the repose of the souls of your great-grandparents! May they rest in peace.

How hard to lose them both but how beautiful that they lived such a long life together and died "together" too. I am praying for the repose of their souls and for comfort for all of you.
