I know...I shouldn't have waited until the last minute...
I am looking for some nice nightgowns to wear at the hospital. I really want sleeves and a long gown...yes, I know it is summer and that is hard to find, but that is what I like, and that is what I can't seem to find.
I know there are some wonderful ones at Vermont Country Store, but does anyone else have a favorite place to find such things?
TIA!

I was going to suggest Vermont Country Store. I've been pleased by their selection, especially choices cotton gowns.
When I was searching recently for summer gowns, I did find a few cotton ones at Sears, but really Vermont had the best.

Just realized you may be gone for the night and I won't be around tomorrow..
Short sleeve seersucker with snaps I have 2 like this and they're wonderful.. snaps hold well and you can easily open at need for nursing including sorta shifting it to the side and opening lower down the top so that you mostly stay covered.

Wow, you guys are quick...
I would love long sleeves...but can compromise. It has to have some tho...
I have to be able to nurse in it...
necklines may vary I just have to be able to unbutton it to nurse and not be too low that my nursing chest doesn't leave the confines of the dress...LOL
Knowing that my chest size is larger when the baby is an infant, I would probably need a 1x size in order to be roomy enough.
I was thinking of something that made me feel kind of elegant...like a lady...old fashioned perhaps...
I love Vermont Country store selections. I was just thinking about how FAST I might be able to get what I need. My due date is 11 days away...can you believe that? I can't. I am in denial. LOL

I can hardly believe MY due date is 7.5 weeks away.. days is beyond comprehension
you might also consider a nursing tank top to solve any neckline issues if you can otherwise find something.

I have never used a nursing tank top...that sounds interesting for when I am out and about for modesty sake...I can just layer and still be covered..yes?
Jodie, I will keep you in my prayers! Are you nesting? ...my dh is!
I was having such a hard time finding a nice modest nightgown. I wore myself out in the mall the other day. The styles were really short or very see through I want something that makes me feel like a lady and still lets me go from 0-60 in under 1.2 seconds and still be covered. LOL
Thank you for all of your help ladies!!

In the hospital and at the beginning I really like to use the nursing sleep bras. Motherhood Maternity have some simple ones, but they don't cover the larger sizes. For last baby I used this Birth and Baby. This site also has nursing tank tops.
The customer service is very good, and for larger sizes it is wonderful for the selection. I normally use Jeunique bras with a local bra lady for custom fitting, and this woman also carries them.

Thank you so much for your input, Jenn! I need hand-holding with this right now. It has been several years since I had to purchase anything new...I can NOT put it off any longer! LOL I can say that the things I did have, died with honors!!
I guess I should wait a bit before investing in a nursing bra...I have no idea how big I will end up...my Peter James stopped nursing during my 5th month. So I had a small break.
