Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just wondering how much time you choose to set aside for confirmation prep. and what you used. I have a little book called Prep. for Confirmation according to the baltimore Catechism, which is thorough, but rather dull.

I've looked for some type of online thing, but haven't had any luck.

Thanks,
Tricia.

I'll be honest, I haven't ever really found something I'm happy with. I buy a little red booklet from Cardinal Newman Centre; My Confirmation by Fr Peter Murphy, very basic. *I do have a gripe with a game on the back page, a use of a word. I figure if I cover some basics and then focus more on the spiritual aspect.

My friend Gae has hared her plans which I may use some of next time.

To answer; How much time, I usually start about six months to 12 before Confirmation and try to do some work together and assign extra reading each week. An hour or so together per week.

I thought I'd use the cathech. resources site too! What a shame it's not available anymore.

Thanks for the link to Gae's page.
