Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have no clue what my ds thought he was doing, but he spilled fish oil on the carpet . Then of course he grabbed a towel and scrubbed it which probably just spread it around. It smells like lemon now, but I know that wont last . Any recommendations for getting fish oil out of carpet?

I just bought a pump-spray bottle of Woolite Oxygen-Activated Stain Remover (in the cleaning supply section of the grocery store). I would imagine any Oxy cleaners would work on the enzymes ifrom the fish oil. Good Luck!

Thanks Servant. I'll give that a try!

I would try dish detergent since it is made to clean up fatty substances.

If none of those work, could you rent a steam cleaner and shampoo your carpet?

I have heard that cleaners designed to clean after animal accidents are good at removing the odor from any protein substance so that may be worth a try.

Thanks everyone. It's pretty warm here today and with no air conditioning I'm not sure I can stand the fishy smell (when I'm pregnant I'm really sensitive to odors!) so I'm willing to dry anything. I have dish soap on hand already so I'll try that first. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
