I thought that was Oprah Winfrey's "go to" doc on her show all the time? I don't watch her show but I'm pretty sure that's him and I thought he even had his own show now. Other than that, I don't really have any opinion.

I've seen him. My grandmother is kinda obsessed about him so I watched his show a few times. I didn't care for him much. His show is kind of sensational, lots of shows about sexual issues, stuff specifically for gross-out purposes, etc. His medical info seems sound enough...he's into lots of nutritional solutions, which is good. Anyway. That's my two cents. :) I don't know anything about his books. My mom said his wife is some kind of new-age practitioner, Reiki? something like that. He, I believe, is Muslim,,,,so I don't know if he has the new age stuff in his books or not.
