Oh, my goodness-
I have long been a Dr. Sears fan and was flabbergasted (and delighted) to find out today from KarenT that he and his wife rejoined the Church about five years ago.

I would love to read how all this came about, but I am having no luck searching the internet about their story. Does anyone know anything about this?

Just to give a little more info (what little I have) - I just got Dr. Popcak's new edition of Parenting with Grace and Dr. Sears wrote the forward. I have it here now beside me and it's actually only been 2 yrs since they've come home, and they had been fallen away 37 yrs (both raised Catholic). They also mentioned that their marriage almost ended early on b/c they were looking for God in all the wrong places (their words).

I was just telling another IRL Catholic friend this yesterday (she has 7 kids and is a very "attached" parent) and she said, "Who is Dr. Sears?"

I'd thought he was pretty universally known.
