Thanks to all of you who have been praying for the illness in our house. It was a bad virus for most of my kids and even I got it, although mildly. We had kids with deep coughs, wheezing, and fevers. My 11 yo ended up missing 10 baseball games and lost 7 pounds due to the fact it had settled in his lungs.

Sadly our newborn (almost 3 weeks old)has caught it and is still nursing well. I'm sure he will be fine, but I do worry. . .

But could you offer a prayer for his safety anyway. . .that he will fight it well without the wheezing and breathing issues some of his siblings had? Your prayers have always meant so much to me.

update 7/8/10

Thanks everyone. Baby Peter is nearly over this illness (hopefully) and he has done quite well. He had a little wheezing but he was such a trooper! It has been exhausting. Tuesday I was SO sick with mastitis, probably due to the fact he just wasn't quite nursing enough and I was so tired. We have not had everyone well for over three weeks (since the day the baby was born). I really hope now we can just have a couple weeks respite before someone gets ill again. Its been a little nerve racking for a postpartum mom (and dad is just fried trying to keep up and also go to work).

THANK YOU!!!! I needed your prayers!
