I went in today for another sonogram and one of the babies appears to have died. The other baby had a strong heartbeat and was much larger than four weeks ago. This baby's sac was much, much smaller and there was only a small dot in it. They didn't look closely and part of me wants to hold on to hope, but...
The doctor called it Vanishing Twin Syndrome. I thought we were past that risk after seeing two heartbeats last time. I am 11 weeks, 1 day along.
My kids are devastated. I am just so sad. So many hopes and plans gone just like that.
Would you please pray for our family?
