Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How useful and/or necessary are the meeting book and manipulatives for Saxon Math 2?

We have other Math manpilatives from my teaching days, and would not want to spend any unnecessary $$.

The meeting book is necessary and a part of every lesson. THe manipulatives, if you have some already,a re probably pretty standard...if you don't have exactly what they call for you could likely substitute. I have Saxon 2 upstairs if you'd like me to see what exactly they use, but I remember it being pretty typical...counting bears, pattern blocks, play money, a clock, and linking cubes are used a lot.
