Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I realize that I will probably have to ask my doctor about this, but I'm thinking, maybe, just maybe someone will know what this might be.
I am pregnant for the 10th time, but I've had 4 miscarriages. We are 11 weeks along, which is farther along than I have come with 3 of the 4 miscarriages, so we are very hopeful.
I have this sharp pain in my side and I can't figure out what it is. It's not low and in front so it's not cramping. It's to my right of my bellybutton but not all the way to the right side of my body. Boy, how's that for an accurate description?
Has anyone ever experienced something like this?
I will also add that I am showing already which I guess is normal after several pregnancies.

Here's another thread that talked about it and I put a link to a picture where the round ligaments are located.

Thanks Jodie! That may be it! I'm actually relieved that it is something like that. A friend said it might be a gall bladder problem which doesn't sound as easy to deal with! I can take pain, I just don't like worrying what it is!

gall bladder is sharp pain, but usually it's just off the center of the body to right and right under your rib cage.. not as low as your belly button, or far enough to really say the right side.

oh and showing early with later babies is normal.. I'm quite sure my body thinks.. oh hey pregnant again.. we know how to do this...

I have the same round ligament pain, which is what the midwife told me it was with our second. I get it pretty strong sometimes, and even get it with periods which I always thought was my ovary since it's somewhat in the same area. I am at 12 weeks and have just been noticing it more in the last 2 weeks or so. It was making me nervous a little too, due to the miscarriage last pregnancy. I'm actually glad to hear that someone else is getting these pains at the same stage, and that it's probably a normal pain. BTW mine is on the same side, exact same location, and is every pregnancy.

ETA: I and a good friend of mine have noticed the same thing about showing earlier. We are both showing much sooner this time. I agree the body notices its pregnant again and happily obliges by looking it right away!
