What do you keep on hand to put into your Vitamix? I'm going to read through some of the recipes to see what I need to stock up on. I hope the Vitamix pros here will chime in with your favorites.
frozen fruit, berries, cherries - sorbet, ice cream, smoothie
pineapple (leave in core)
bananas
apples,
oranges,
wheat berries
yogurt
canned black beans and salsa on hand for a quick soup
canned garbanzo beans (hummus)
lemon juice (hummus)
sesame seeds (hummus - no tahini!)
garlic (hummus)
(Our Costco has recently started selling organic frozen cherries - yum!)
ETA: recommended items
Love,

pineapple.. not only does it taste good but it's great for colds, sore muscles, and any soft tissue injury including surgeries and such.

Did you know you don't need to core the pineapple when you are using it with the vita mix? It's delish in smoothies. I keep ripe bananas, pineapple, frozen berries, apples, oranges, and yogurt on hand. I also keep wheat berries. My stepmother makes her own peanut butter in hers. We keep canned black beans and salsa on hand for a quick soup.

SPINACH!!! and kale
kiwis
cucumbers
carrots
grapes
watermelon
My 4 year old makes the best smoothies. He's always choosing interesting and yet yummy combos. Today he wanted an "orange smoothie" so he chose a whole orange, half a frozen banana, pineapple, baby carrots, a splash of OJ, water and milk. It was so yummy! (I added spinach to mine after I poured his out. They love green smoothies, but today he was going for the color orange!)
