Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My son (7.5) understands the concepts of adding/subtracting just fine, but has difficulty memorizing the facts to enhance moving on in math.

I am attempting to have him work with Fact Family Triangles, to show the relationship between addition and subtraction, as opposed to working on addition facts and subtraction facts separately. Any thoughts on this?

We like to play the Math Facts Now - I have seen it various places but the only place I can think of right now is CHC. It is very simple (non-flashy) - you can set it for various problems and combinations, as well as how many types to type the correct answer for incorrect responses and how many seconds are given, etc. Very adaptable - and encourages the child to beat his own time (he's playing against himself, not mom :) ).

If you like computer games that is.....
