I fell off the wagon for starting threads...but you could probably fill in the blanks for me: Monday - chicken, Tuesday - hamburgers, and Wednesday we're having pot roast, again.
It was on sale, and I don't have many good crock pot recipes that are allergy-safe, and I need something for PE days.

No idea what we're having tonight - I've got a busy day today so it needs to be something easy. Maybe just leftovers with new sides?

I don't know what allergies you are dealing with, but A Year of Slow Cooking is great for crock pot recipes and she is very good about answering substitution questions for allergies. All her items are gluten free as well.

I am making the Pioneer Woman's Drip Beef Italian Style. I got to meet her yesterday, so I am super excited! It's in the crock pot now, and smells so yummy!

absolutely no clue what to make for dinner.. I'm barely up and funcational today.. had a hard tiem falling asleep last night so even sleeping in some I'm still short on sleep.
Today is a good dinner day though.. as long as I make dinner early we can eat before stuff happens.. or the last thing is actually done not too horribly late and I can stay home and cook while Dave does that.

I've decided.. my dh has to be outside for work today.. and he had to get up really really early..
I'm gonna plan to have dinner ready early and will make chicken and dumplings.. he'll like that and it's a cozy meal for a dreary day that's spitting hail/snow.

Okay, ladies, from deep in the Heart of Texas, I will be making teriyaki chicken, Italian sausage, sauteed peppers and onions, pasta with a pineapple cilantro sauce, and salad. All served with a very wonderful wine from my brother's wine cellar.

We are having a glomy day here, too. Chicken and dumplings sounds like just the ticket!
Tell me, do you do biscuit-style or noodle-style dumplings? I tend to do biscuit-style myself most of the time, but I am thinking noodle-style today for some reason.

Actually I do a yeast steamed dumpling
You remove most of the liquid into a seperate pot and thicken it.. you lay the risen rolls onto the chickena and cover and let steam until done.. then serve the chicken and dumplings with the "gravy" over the top of everything.

I still have no clue. We will be (guess where?) at dance tonight (surprise!) until 8:00 and there is a 1/2 hour drive after that. We may end up with something very easy - burritos or pasta.
But...I bought a chicken for the crockpot for tomorrow! (I tried it out last month and it works! Yay!)

Ooops! Cancel the chicken and dumplings. As soon as ds realized it's Cinco de Mayo plans were hatched for a taco feast tonight. Glad I have all ingredients on hand!

CAROLE!!!!! I'm so glad you "popped" in!!! I was just thinking about you!
Are you enjoying having the ease and all the choices in the States compared to Wales?

Cinco de Mayo here too!
Homemade flour tortillas, a Tex-Mex dip, and tacos.

Ugh. I don't know. Fish sticks? Frozen Pizza? Can't do the Rice-n-Peaches-thing because dh is home.
But, now I just went back and read the thread, and realized I have some leftover taco-chicken-meat frozen in the freezer....so maybe we'll do tacos too (chicken). I think there are even a couple ripe avocados!!!!

I have no recollection of Monday.
Tuesday was pork jambalaya, corn, green beans, and rolls at Athletic Awards Banquet.
Wednesday is chicken and cheese quesadilla (of course) for Cinco de Mayo.

I knew that it was Cinco de Mayo and it is a big celebration here. But I decided to stay in and cook tonight. I think we may celebrate tomorrow.
Jenn, I have been thinking about you as well. I am enjoying being here and visiting with my brothers. My family misses me, but I still have a lot of things to take care of before I leave (and pray that those volcanos stay quiet). I did spend about 45 minutes in Michaels today. It was wonderful.
