My ex rejected the hearing officer's proposal. I was willing to compromise, but he wasn't... will have to go to court on May 28th. 
Thank you for all your prayers~! The hearing officer basically gave me what was most important to me.. custody and the right to homeschool (after stating that he was personally against homeschooling)... I guess I impressed him...  we did get a cut in child support and too much visitation time for the father, but if he agrees I will agree and it will be over!! 
Please pray that he agrees and we do not have to go before the judge, unless God wants it. God's will be done! (Big sigh of relief, but stomach still in knots until papers are signed)
And prayers for the children who've been with him for 16 days, doing as they please... wanting to stay here because it's a big party... prayers that North Carolina becomes "home" to them, and my husband a true step father with proper love and affection.
You and all your intentions were remembered at Mass Sunday and also in my 54 day rosary novena started on April 28.

When we married dd and I moved 450 miles from "home", and dd adjusted well, and it is truly home to her now. I pray that your precious dc will adjust well, and that life can settle to a peacefull day-to-day, and that all in the family will bond well!

I had a sinking feeling this would happen...I see it happen all too often, so maddening (to be honest.) Praise God these delays, for as exhausting and time-consuming as they are, eventually come to an end and may truth and justice prevail! Peace, Robin, peace .

I know how hard going to court will be, but the judge should not look favorably on his rejection. The hearing officer is there so that cases don't have to go in front of the judge, and typically are what the judge would order. So I'm going to keep upbeat about this and continue to pray!
