Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those of you who use rosetta stone could you tell me how you structure your week. I followed the path suggested in the teacher's manual where you have 3 days of computer lessons, one day of workbook, and one day of review/culture/speaking. This seems like the right amount of time to spend each day (about 1/2 hour). However, I'm bummed by how little we've gotten through of the program. We are in the middle of Unit 3 of 8. This is supposed to be a 2 year program I thought. The ads all mention how quickly people learn a language from this program; but, I don't see much quick about it. Please let me know how you implement this for your kids. Thanks

We are using RS French, Level 1 (this year) with dd14, 8th grade. Because of a couple of outside commitments, she does only 4 lessons a week. The parent guide has the lessons divided into daily blocks, so we do 4 blocks. We are toward the end of Unit 3, and plan to keep going through the summer, as it seems like something that we don't to lose by ignoring it. By the end of the summer we should be ready to start Level 2, Unit 1. The Plan we are following says it goes through each level in 45 weeks. Sounds about right. If you're looking at 8 units in a 2-year plan, it sounds to me like you're right where you're supposed to be. Maybe I'm not understanding your question?

Peace,
Nancy
