I'm looking for cool, cotton, comfortable pjs.
I like cropped pants or long shorts, and something with half-sleeve, not sleeveless.
Any good places to find comfy pjs or loungewear?

Sounds funny, but I like the Joe Boxer sets from K-Mart. They are 100% cotton and seem to wear well, getting softer and softer as they age.

In the past, I've had some luck with Sears.
No time to link but I think they might have what you are looking for:)

I've always looked longingly at the sleepwear in the Garnet Hill catalog, but haven't ever sprung for anything.

Wal-mart had some cute sets when I was in there a couple of days ago. Nice spring/summer pastels, longish shorts.
Peace,
Nancy

I saw some at Kohl's, yesterday. In fact, they seemed to have a bunch. I prefer nightgowns (can't stand anything on my legs when I sleep-weird, I know ) and bought two. They had lots of pretty designs and the all the pj's I looked at were 100% cotton and very soft.
God Bless,

Bless you, Stacy! I prefer nightgowns as well and I'm glad to know this. I was doing a little happy dance when Jenn posted this...and I've been peeking in ever since! Thanks for the heads up on Kohls!

Great suggestions, everyone. Thank you! I was eyeing a few at Vermont Country Store, but they are a bit pricey, so I really appreciate local suggestions.
I wish I liked nightgowns, but I think I move around too much and end up in a wrestling match with the nightgown. It always wins.
Dh and I recently watched The Miracle and I was observing to him how the wife looked so feminine and ladylike for nighttime. Definitely something I need to work on!

Jenn,
I just got back from Sears and they had some great pj's for sale! 30-50% off!
They also had seperates so that if you aren't the same size on the top and bottom (like me ) you can still have a matching set
Good Luck!

I wear linen night clothes.
See Cheeks and look in the underflax categories.
I love the shortjohns-it is a new style I probably wont try simply because I think bathroom trips will be to complicated when I am half asleep, I always wear the short gowns with the bedskirt bloomers. Georgous, comfy and fun. I just bought new jammies for my daughters 1st Communion weekend. We will have a ton of family here for the weekend, and I wanted something cute, modest, and new! So, I got the bedskirt bloomers, the short gown and half a shirt for on top.
My best suggestion - if you find something you really love, go back and buy multiples. About 10 years ago at Target before Valentines day they had the cutest little jammies - capripants and short tank. Perfect for me at the time and great for breastfeeding, and fit long into pregnancy! I bought 4 sets. They lasted for almost 10 years!
Good luck -

Thanks for all the suggestions, Ladies!
The flax/linen looks so yummy, Trish! Is it soft? Does it wash well, as is it pre-shrunk?
Lindsay, those are pretty pjs. I'm not usually a pink gal, but roses--that's another story!
I hope to try and look around locally for options tomorrow, and then I'll do online shopping if I come up short.
I happened to ask my mother if she would like new nightwear for Mothers' Day and she was interested. She and I were both thinking that we need to make this more of a priority to look feminine during the day AND night for our hubbies.
