Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I really, really love the What do you do Dear? and What do you Say Dear? books. They are informative and fun without being preachy. Manners books can too often stray into being so pedagogically dry. These are refreshing...

Do you have any favorites?

Good to see you, Ellie. There are some good picture books included here. For fun and not preachy, the Goops books might be a good fit!

Love,

Ah, thank you! I see that most my questions or discussions get re-routed to prior threads on the topic.

This is what happens when I post and lurk infrequently...      I'm Johnny Come Lately to all the good topics.

(That and I think the majority of my posting is in this particular forum...)

Ellie, I hope referring to previous and related topics isn't off-putting! There is some content that gets discussed here regularly over time, which is great. Each time the content is brought here for discussion, fresh insights are added. Seriously, with this gathering there is no way to discuss picture books enough .

Back to manners...we are Madeline fans so we enjoy, Madeline says Merci: the Always Be Polite Book.

Love,

Not off-putting at all. Humbling a bit... in a wonderful sort of way. I love being able to come here and realize how many great minds have been here before me and currently still are... from whom I glean such fantastic ideas.
