Mom was rushed to the hospital this weekend. They did a CT scan and she had several large masses including her liver and her lungs. After a biopsy, they have determined that she has cancer that started on her esophogus. It could also be in her bones.

My mother is not Catholic. Please pray for her. Thank you for your prayers.

Update 4/26
Mom has been placed in a hospice. She is not eating, but they are giving her pain medication and liquids. She is resting for most of the day. She has no will to live.

I am leaving tomorrow to travel home. I am not very good about traveling over the ocean--one of those fears that you carry with you throughout life.

Please continue to pray for my mother and for me to have a safe and uneventful journey home. Thank you for your prayers.

Update 2
Mom died this morning. I travel to Austin tomorrow. Please pray for her soul and for my entire family.
