*The bone scan has been postponed until 4/28. Evidently the stuff they need to inject in him to do the scan was on one of the flights that was cancelled in Europe due to the volcanic ash*


I just found out my dad needs to have his left kidney removed. He has two growths in the kidney. They are doing a bone scan Thursday morning. Evidently something on the scan of the kidney signaled them to double check his bones. They don't know if the growths in his kidney are malignant -- I assume they will check after they remove it. That is all I know at the moment.

   Please pray that the bone scan comes back without any problems and that the surgery goes smoothly and for whatever else you think might be helpful.

   We should have the results of the bone scan sometime Friday.

   My dad will turn 75 in May.

Dad had his bone scan and the results were clear. Nothing on the bones to worry about. This was really good news.

They are going to remove the left kidney next Friday, May 7th.
